The Christian life is fraught with ‘many toils and snares’ as the hymn writer wrote. The end of a year may find many in the faith worn and gazing at the new year as another tidal wave rushing to meet them. In this message, Rev. Owens reminds us of the beautiful and fundamental truths that ought to fill any Christian with fresh courage and hope, even as they war with the flesh and the devil.
For everyone who is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. (1 John 5:4)
